Powers to Arrest (Guard Card) $225
This initial 8 hour course will teach the student basic laws of arrest for the security officer along with an overview of terrorism. Once the license is received the student can then start working as a Private Security Officer. The cost is $225.00 and this includes BSIS state fee and live-scan.
AB2880
AB2880 refers to the laws that oversee the licensing of Security Officers. The law mandates a Security Officer must receive 16 hours of continuing education within 30 days of working as a licensed officer and 16 more within 6 months.
